Two+ feet of snow blanket the Sierra Nevada Range

Exciting news out of California this week as two small storms have yielded nearly 30" of snow in the Sierra Nevadas. Although many CA ski resorts are still experiencing low snow-base levels, the fresh snow will certainly provide some fun for many throughout the upcoming President's Day weekend.

Mammoth Mountain reported receiving 27" of snow from the storm, and Alpine Meadows to the north reported 26". For a taste of what's out there, drop in to the videos below—shot at Mammoth on February 14, and Heavenly on February 16.
